9/11 Memorial Mass held this Sunday 10/22

To honor all first responders, firefighters, police officers and emergency medical technicians who served and serve our local community and communities across our country, and those who died or were impacted by this horrific tragedy. Please sign the name of your loved one or friend, living or deceased in the book. There will be a blessing for all first responders during the Mass.

This will be a bilingual Mass at 10:00 am, 10/22.

This Memorial Mass will also be celebrated in honor of those who were victims of the most recent tragedy in Las Vegas. We pray for the police officers and the souls of the 58 dead, and over 500 injured.

My Sisters and Brothers,

Due to an increase in our parish’s enrollment, a half hour between Masses is not conducive to our celebration of Mass.

Many have spoken to me about the parking and departure situation. Trying to avoid unnecessary changes and unable to reschedule Saturday Vigil Masses, we have only changed one Mass time. Please read and clip out the schedule for season. November through April:

  • Saturday Masses at 3:00 pm & 4:30 pm with Confessions at 2 pm
  • Spanish Mass is at 6:30 pm with Confessions at 5:45 pm and recitation of the Rosary before Mass.
  • Sunday Masses at 7:30 am (no music); 9 am (music); and 11 am (music and the blessing of our children).

We hope that this schedule will provide sufficient time for our priests, musicians, sacristans, and congregation to prepare properly for the Liturgy.

Peace and grace, Fr. Russell
