Welcome, Father Casey Jones!!

Dear Parishioners of St. Elizabeth Seton Parish,

It is my prayer that the Peace and Blessings of Our Savior Jesus Christ reign within your heart and in your homes!
After consultation with the Priest Personnel Board, I am pleased to announce the appointment of Reverend Casey Jones as the new Administrator of St. Elizabeth Seton Parish, effective November 12, 2018.

Father Jones is a priest of the Diocese of Venice and was ordained to the priesthood on July 14, 2012. Father most recently served as chaplain of Bishop Verot High School and Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers. Prior to that Father Jones was Parochial Vicar at San Pedro Parish in North Port, and Ss. Peter and Paul Parish in Bradenton.

At this time, I wish to express my sincere gratitude and appreciation to Father Russell Ruggiero for his past two years of service and ministry to the faithful of St. Elizabeth Seton Parish. Additionally, I would like to thank Reverend Luis Pacheco for his fine pastoral work during this time of transition at St. Elizabeth Seton Parish.

Kindly welcome Father Casey Jones to the community of St. Elizabeth Seton Parish. Please keep him in your prayers as he assumes his responsibilities as your new administrator. I take this opportunity to extend to each of you, the faithful of St. Elizabeth Seton Parish, my greetings and assurance of my prayers.

Sincerely yours in Christ,
+Frank J Dewane
Bishop of the Diocese of Venice in Florida
