A Letter from Deacon David Portorreal

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

It’s hard to believe that my summer assignment here at St. Elizabeth Seton has come to an end. Words cannot express my gratitude to all of you for your warm welcome, prayers, and support. As I return to the seminary this weekend to prepare for my final year of studies, please know that I will keep the SES community in prayer and hope to visit periodically throughout the year. In a particular way, I would like to thank Fr. Casey, Fr. Carlos, and the entire Parish Staff for their patience and generosity with me.

I have learned a great deal this summer and greatly look forward to priestly ordination next summer when I will be able to more fully serve the People of God. There is a great spirit here at SES. As Beloved Sons and Daughters of God, let us continue to support and love one another as we strive for holiness. Thanks again!

In Him,
Deacon David Portorreal
