“Come & You Will See.”
Jesus invites us to see through His eyes others in the world. Conversion includes embracing a Gospel perspective and attitude. Martin Luther King Jr. carried forth that Gospel message by being a social activist. The parish office will be closed Monday, January 15th in commemoration of Martin Luther King Jr. May we use that day to become more aware of coming to Jesus and seeing a better world.
Help SES Fix the Internet
Please be aware that there are one, if not more online directories that have the wrong Mass times listed for St. Elizabeth. If you come across one, record the domain name and please contact the parish office so we can rectify the situation. Please always refer to our bulletin and website for Mass time information. Thank you! -FR
Bible Study Begins Soon
Bible study will begin again on January 24th and 25th. It will once again be offered on Tuesday evenings from 6:30-7:30 in the Faith Formation building or on Wednesday mornings from 8:30-9:30 in the Parish Center. We will be studying the Gospel of Mark for ten weeks. Mark’s Gospel is sometimes called “the Gospel of the Cross”. Rich in Scripture, theological in purpose, and brilliant in design, Mark’s Gospel invites its readers to become followers of Jesus’ transfiguring wisdom.? Call the parish office (455-3900) to register for the session you want to attend. Books will be ordered for all who register.
The SES Baby Shower is Back!
Come join us and celebrate in the School Cafeteria on Sunday January 21st 2pm. Please bring along a Baby Shower gift (wrapped or unwrapped) that would help the mother or the baby. If you cannot make it to the Shower, you can drop off your gifts to the School gym, prior to the Shower and we will make sure it is delivered. Food: If you would like to cook and share food, please bring Mini Sandwiches, Finger Foods, Cookies and Desserts. This event will benefit the Community Pregnancy Clinic, Providence House and Sunlight Home.
