My Sisters and Brothers,
On behalf of our parish family and our guests, I want to thank everyone involved in creating a holy and sacred celebration and Liturgy for the Commemoration of 9/11, Las Vegas, and the other USA cities affected by terrorism and violence.
Many made comments to me regarding the ushers, musicians, decorations, and the reverence in which we pray. Also, many people were joyful at how well interwoven the Spanish and English were during Mass.
Many invested much talent and time. It is their and my hope that we have more bilingual celebrations. I am sincerely grateful and thankful for all of you. We are blessed and alive in the Spirit at St. Elizabeth Seton.
Sincerely yours in Christ Jesus’ service,
Also, My Sisters and Brothers,
Due to an increase in our parish’s enrollment, a half hour between Masses is not conducive to our celebration of Mass.
Many have spoken to me about the parking and departure situation. Trying to avoid unnecessary changes and unable to reschedule Saturday Vigil Masses, we have only changed one Mass time. Please read and clip out the schedule for season.
November through April:
- Saturday Masses at 3:00 pm & 4:30 pm with Confessions at 2 pm
- Spanish Mass is at 6:30 pm with Confessions at 5:45 pm and recitation of the Rosary before Mass.
- Sunday Masses at 7:30 am (no music); 9 am (music); and 11 am (music and the blessing of our children).
We hope that this schedule will provide sufficient time for our priests, musicians, sacristans, and congregation to prepare properly for the Liturgy.
Peace and grace, Fr. Russell
